Time to Re1ease

Let’s cut right to the chase: changing the w 8 t of your body is one of the easiest things you can do. I know this sounds like one of those crazy commercials, but I’m going bold and saying it I’m not talking about some simple gimmick; I’m talking about how our bodies know exactly what we need on order to be healthy. It’s just that WE tend to get in the way (in more ways than one). Let’s look at 3 key ways to go about making an effective change with our w 8 t:

Re1ease

I’m going to pass on one of my hot, en*ergy tips to you right now—pay attention: Whenever we speak the words “w 8 t Loss,” we are setting ourselves up because whatever we 1*ose, we always want to find. Do you want to find those extra p*ounds? Do you want to find your financial difficulty? Do you want to find your unfulfilling relationship? The simple answer is, of course not. The more complex is this: why are you hanging onto it? Stop and really think about this.
Your body is not to be feared

We tend to go about trying to make a change by hating what we have. We might frame it in the form of a joke, but making fun of the way we look, healthy food, other people who have what we don’t, ideas that are different than what we grew up with do one thing and one thing only—keep us right where we are.

Your body is stronger and more resilient than you think. It’s ALWAYS ready to take on a different, better way of living—it’s just waiting for the go-ahead from you. Give your body a chance to eat, live, breathe, think and feel differently, and it will respond. Down to your cells. But you have to be friendly and loving toward it. (Would you trust anyone who wasn’t? Your body will respond the same.) Treat and feed your body with love and it will respond—whole-heartedly.
Feel it

I’ve never been a fan of counting the ca1ories in food. Not with changing my own way of eating and not with the hundreds of others that I’ve helped with changing theirs. To make an effective change with your body, you MUST get out of your head and get in your skin! I strongly emphasize this. Do you buy a piece of clothing by counting the fibers that make it up? I doubt it. You’ve got to feel your connection to your fuel source. It’s what makes you who you are. Once you are tuned into what your body needs at all times, you will always be in harmony with it. Isn’t that really, what we want anyway—to feel good? (Hint: if you are trying to make a change with your body or anything else in your life for any other reason than to feel wonderful, you are setting yourself up for struggle and strife.)
There is a constant source of en*ergy available to you at all times. If you set yourself up to connect to it through feeling, you will always be on track for what you want. If you set yourself up to doubt it, resist it, challenge it, or fear it, you will stay with what you have.

What will it take for you to choose to re1ease?
