I was talking to some friends recently about the book The Lion, The Witch and
The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. This was one of my all-time favorite books
growing up (still is). It's about a girl who's playing hide-and-go seek with
her brothers and sisters, goes into a wardrobe and steps out the back into
the magical land of Narnia. The connection to your third energy point
is in the battle between the two leaders
: the Ice Witch and Aslan,
the Lion Ruler. The Ice Witch has turned Narnia into a forever winter and
turns anyone who goes against her into stone. She rules through fear.
Aslan is loving, honest, does good for others and still takes care of
himself. He rules through Spirit.

Both of these characters live in your third energy point; the
stronger one can make or break your wealth, business, and success.


When the Ice Queen has control over your third energy point, you are playing
yourself down, not getting paid what you're worth, doing out of obligation
and not telling the truth to yourself, your friends/family, the world. You
walk around feeling miserable, desperate, and cranky, and you turn to
bringing in false comfort: food, smoking, excessive/ secretive spending, and
overworking.
Your stomach and intestines will seize up, bloat, and
turn into a protective barrier or discharge erratically to try to get your
attention. It's crying out, "This isn't who you are! This isn't what
you're meant to be doing!"

When the Lion Ruler is in command, you are living from your core values, your
actions match your deepest beliefs, and your relationships and business
success reflect this. You are able to come honestly into your life
through purpose, and you recognize that you can serve the world without
sacrificing your own well-being.

3 Steps to Magnetizing Your Ideal Clients Instantly

To prepare yourself to magnetize your ideal clients you want to first pre-pave the way for connecting with your ideal clients by having two strong, EnergyRICH® legs to stand on.

2 – Have a strong, clear EnergyRICH® message. You want to know to the bottom of your soul what you are here to offer. No vague, “I help people”, but real strong clarity of the purpose of your business and the reason why folks need what you have.

These two essence pieces (the inner AND the outer) are the foundation of your business and your marketing. Yes, they will take some energy and effort to create. But once you've got them, you have the launching pad for magnetizing your ideal clients instantly.

Next the way you pull these clients in is a step-by-step energetically aligned and practical system using at least three avenues of marketing such as referral marketing,
networking, or speaking (these are only examples and can be any avenues that work for you).

When I started my first business this is exactly what I did. I had transitioned from being a high school drama teacher to being a self-employed Nutrition and Wellness Coach.

I had 6 months to “make it in business.” That was it.

After getting clear about the above two foundation pieces I contacted every networking organization in New York City (this is a lot). I plugged in at least 2 events per week. I managed my energy before I went to every single one. I met several people. I followed up with everyone I met and every referral I received. I set up a time to connect with them sooner rather than later – and I energetically set myself up for success before each and every meeting.

I filled my practice in 9 months (and had enough income at the magic 6 month mark to keep going.)

I’ve expanded on this same model and use it even today. Always by first putting those first two foundation pieces in place, now I mostly connect with folks by email. disconnection and panic and a bunch of random actions thrown together. You close your eyes do a little networking, a little emailing, some on-line stuff and, again, hope, but not a whole lot happens.

What's missing is the energetically aligned step-by-step system. You want every action to connect and you want every action aligned with who you are and what you believe is possible. When you intend, implement and commit to this method, it's like turning on a magnet. Prospects will be drawn to you and convert into clients!

So let’s break down the main pieces of this step-by-step system:

Step One - Manage your fears and doubts.

Step Two - Craft a message that has you extremely at ease with speaking about what you do. For instance, you want to communicate your value to the people that need your services in a way that is honest, authentic to you.

Step Three - Have at least three ways of connecting with potential clients, consistently.

Step Four – Have a clear call-to-action, not to immediately buy from you necessarily, but simply to connect with you to learn more. This is important. It might sound like this, "I’d be happy to set up a time to chat so I can hear more about what you’d like to see happening for yourself and we can see if my service is a match for you."

Step Five – Put in motion your EnergyRICH® Prospect to Profits Process™: learn about their needs and desires and what’s keeping this from happening, share how your service can get them where they want to go, and gain the commitment with ease.

Repeat this step-by-step system enough times and gaining new clients will be like brushing your teeth – something you do every day, right?

I remember being introduced to the concept of "business networking" when I started my first business. I thought, I will NEVER be able to do this. I remember getting ready to go to my first networking event and whining to my husband (then boyfriend), "I was miserable at this kind of thing when I was dating! How could this ever help my business?"
And then I realized about networking what I've come to know about so many aspects of building business ...

It was ME that needed to change.

So here is 1 Sure-Fire INNER and OUTER EnergyRICH® Tip for you to begin to use right away so that you get the most from the time, money and energy you invest in networking:
Shift your energy away form "getting" to "giving."

What I didn't like about dating events was that I felt on display and like I had to prove something so that I could try to get someone to like me. It was this same energy that I was NOT looking forward to encountering in business networking. Standing in a restaurant somewhere with a stiff smile on my face pretending that I cared what some insurance guy (not that insurance isn't important) was saying to me?!

Yuck!

And then for one event I thought to myself, what would happen when I spoke about my business if I really spoke from my heart (rather than worrying about saying the "right thing") and I just CHOSE to see the light in each person I met and to really dig deep to see what I could GIVE to each person - - something of real value, something that would make a difference to them, to their business, to their life. Wahla!

Everything changed.

First, I no longer felt dread and exhaustion.
Second, I started meeting some REALLY great people. (Some folks that I am still in touch with to this day.)

Third, business started to pick up... and often NOT from the direct person that I gave to (that's a little EnergyRICH® Secret I just gave you).

One of my favorite memories is from a guest who visited my very first BNI (Business Networking International) group. It turned out that she was a representative for the Trading Association on Wall Street in New York City. She sent out the information about my business (my first business was as a Nutrition and Wellness Coach) to EVERY trader in the association. (Just FYI: most traders have terrible diets.) I filled half of my practice from that connection. And that was in my first 6 months of business.

And that's just my FAVORITE story like that. There are tons more.

But I truly believe the energy is the foundation to ALL of it. If I had been closed off, angry, resentful, annoyed about being at that meeting (i.e. What's the point? These things don't work anyway?) I have a hard time believing that connection would have happened.
So get clear about what your intention is before any type of networking opportunity. (And what you can authentically GIVE, not just get.)

Move Through Your Fear for More Money

Most business coaches don’t go near talking about fears and doubts, but my experience has shown me it is extremely crucial to address if you are serious about being an EnergyRICH™ Entrepreneur. These emotions are valid and completely understandable.

As a solo-entrepreneur you’ve chosen to really stand on your own two feet. You are a renegade. This is very different from working for someone else. The objective isn’t about ignoring or hiding from these feelings; it’s simply about managing them when they appear. To pretend they don’t exist or get down on yourself when they show up just keeps you stuck in the low-level energy of these emotions and further away from your success.

One of the best ways you can manage your energy around fear is to have a clear, powerful vision of what you want. Great success stories start with a compelling vision that pulls you forward, even on those days when you are feeling very doubtful about your business.

So then, you have to ask yourself—what’s my vision?

Too many business owners float along, believing they do have a vision, when in reality, they don't. I often hear things like: "I want to transform people’s lives." This is not a vision. If you REALLY do want to transform people’s lives, then your vision must be clear, focused, and electrifying! It’s gotta get your heart pumpin’ and specifically zero in on how you will serve the people you are meant to connect with.

Another example I often hear sounds like this, "I want to get more clients." Again, this is nothing more than an unclearly spoken minor goal. This lack of clarity is a true “Come on in!” for all those fears and doubts. The vaguer you are, the more room for the mind to say, “You can’t do that. How are you ever going to make that happen? I can’t get my arms around that. We’re outta here.”

Here are 7 steps to focus your vision and move it from your head into your heart:

Clear the Decks Step #1:Look At How Fear Has Affected Your Business Actions

I don’t recommend dwelling here, but we do need to have an understanding of where we’ve been to get clear about where we want to go. So take some quiet time to connect with yourself and go inside.

List ways fear and/or doubt led you to under-value, sell-out, or give away your services in the past. Just let the list flow and resist the temptation to get down on you. You are going through this so you can do it all differently the next time around.

Clear the Decks Step #2: Look at How Fear Has Affected Your Business Speak

One of the biggest blocks that I see facing entrepreneurs is a resistance to talking about what you do. There is a fear of being questioned, judged, called out as a fraud, or jumping ahead and assuming the person you’re speaking to doubts what it is you have to say. The thing is, if you don’t tell people what you do, then no one will know about it. I know that sounds silly and obvious, but it’s true, right? It’s like throwing away a gift before you’ve unwrapped it. You don’t even know what it is, but you’ve determined it’s no good.

It is a MUST to shift the vision around how you speak about what you do. So let’s start by listing times when fear and/or doubt affected the way you spoke about your services in the past.

Clear the Decks Step #3: Look At How Fear Has Affected Your Productivity

Entrepreneurs can be experts at appearing busy. They check email, move papers around on their desk, run errands, research websites, and have coffee meetings. At the end of the day, not one action has been in support of the growth of their businesses. This is about hiding. You tell yourself that you’re busy, you tell others you’re busy, but when it comes down to it, we know we’re avoiding what really needs to be done. And that’s about putting ourselves out there.

Let’s be honest. List ways fear thwarted your productivity in the past. It’s the best way to move through it all. The relief and success on the other side is so worth it.

Clear the Decks Step #4: Put the Fear Pieces Together

Looking back at the 3 lists you created, what can you identify as your main fear? What are you afraid of?

There is usually one main thread that connects it all. One big “yikes” that we’re convinced if THAT happens it will be the end of us.

What is that for you?

Clear the Decks Step #5: Connect the Doubt Dots

Looking back at the 3 lists you created, what are you doubtful about? This is the sticky part. This is the part where most folks want to jump ship and blame it all on outside stuff (my work area is a mess, my family doesn’t support me, it rained today), so they get stuck, totally stalled in their tracks.

It's tempting, I admit, to want to abort. My coaching request here is…don't. Every time you doubt yourself, go back to your vision and ask, if not me, then who?

Clear the Decks Step #6: Make Peace

What are some ways you can begin to “make peace” with your doubts and fears?

First, start by looking at why these little buggers are showing up. Are they trying to protect you? Is it natural to want to stay with what you know? Did this path work for you at some point in the past?

Thank them for the messages of guidance they are giving you. Every time you feel a ‘pang’ of fear or doubt, it’s a message something is off track from your vision. So you gently guide yourself back. Give yourself some powerful self-talk (I CAN do this!) and begin releasing the fear as you put one foot (or one toe if you need to start there) in front of the other.

Clear the Decks Step #7: Make a Choice

What do you want more: fear or success? If you chose success, clearly state WHAT you are inspired to create. So instead of the loose "I want to make a difference" story, envision something state-of-the-art, specific, juicy, dripping with the details of what excites you and attach a time frame to it. Go for it!

How does that feel? Now, what are you willing to do to create that?

Find someone you can speak to about these entrepreneurial doubts and fears. Be very conscious about who you choose. Often individuals who don’t have their own businesses cannot completely relate, even if they are one of our closest companions. Ask for support. Ask for accountability.

Put this into consistent practice.

Continue to develop techniques that are easily available to you, which you can reach out and grab onto during times of fear and doubt, which can help to restore your energy and confidence.

Accept this road will become smoother, but it will be constant. As an EnergyRICH™ Entrepreneur, you are on a constant road of growth and expansion. Better to embrace all that comes with that; otherwise, you’ll stay right where you are in all areas.

Oh, and prospects smell fear and doubt from a mile away. You want to step up to be present to those you serve and for yourself.

The result is extremely powerful.
